Hi, I’m Ashton.

I’m a dog walker and trainer in Edmonton.

I am passionate about advocating for dogs and helping them live their best lives using only force free methods. I will always make your best friend’s safety, confidence, and happiness my top priority!

If your dog has issues with reactivity or walking on leash that’s no problem! I always want to work within a dog’s comfort zone and tailor every walk to their needs on a given day.

I do this by focusing on dog-led walks with plenty of opportunities to stop and sniff. I will always be watching your pup’s body language to make sure everyone is having the best and most relaxing time possible :-)

If this sounds like a good fit for you and your little devil, get in touch, and we can set up a free meet and greet so I can answer any questions you might have!

Services:

Dog led walks ($40-$50)

I will meet your pup at home and take them on a neighbourhood walk, allowing them to pick the pace and direction that we walk, and making sure they have plenty of opportunities to sniff and decompress!

Drop-in Visits ($30)

Not just for dogs! I am happy to check in on any other pets you have as well. I will come by your home for 15-25 minutes to check on your pets, take them outside, refill food and water, or whatever else they may need while you’re out for the day.

Overnight Pet Sitting (From $150/night)

I will stay with your pet(s) in your home where they are most comfortable! Please note that for weekday bookings pups must be comfortable at home alone during the day for ~4+ hours so that I can keep up with my regular walks!

Hourly Pet Sitting ($25/hour)

Most often booked by clients with pups working through separation anxiety concerns! Typical availability is weekdays after 4PM and weekends, but I have occasional daytime availability as well!

Training (Coming soon!)

I’ll be offering discounted training packages while I build my curriculum and work towards my IAABC-ADT accreditation. Stay tuned!

This is Baxter. He’s my best friend and my Little Devil.

He’s always been a pretty anxious guy, and he loves to pull on the leash while following his big hound nose. He’s taught me a lot about dogs and inspired me to change careers to work with dogs. He’s taught me to enjoy the challenge of walking ‘difficult’ dogs and I am so excited to share what he’s taught me with your dog!

Whether you struggle to take your dog on walks, or you just need someone to hang out with them for a bit while you’re at work, I’ve got ya covered.
